Toby Duet and his late brother Danny Duet fished the waters of South Louisiana all of their lives... even before they built the Cajun Lodge in 1978. We really miss Danny, but his spirit and fishing expertise live proudly with his brother Toby.

Back in 1987, Danny and Toby sought the advice of LSU (Louisiana State University) biologists to construct a pilot mariculture business on 8,000 acres of leased land. The cage culture of striped bass began in the late 80s, and continues to this day. In 1993, besieged with requests for guide services while waiting for the striped bass fingerlings, the Cajun Resort, L.L.C. began business.

We are experts on catering hunting and/or fishing trips to meet the needs of our customers. Our expertise is unmatched and draws clients from as far away as Canada.
